Returns
To assist us in processing your return, please contact us for return authorisation before sending goods back. Freight charges on change of mind returns are strictly non-refundable. This process does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
No returns will be accepted on opened, installed or otherwise used products. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Failure to comply with these process requirements may delay processing of a change of mind return and/or remedy options available to you under Australian Consumer Law (i.e. a delayed notification may limit options of remedies which would have been otherwise available. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
If goods are incorrectly supplied, damaged in transit, faulty, misdescribed or otherwise not as ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. We may need to inspect the goods and will provide the remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
Please make sure that returned orders are shipped well and the product and packaging is not damaged. Goods must be returned in original packaging and resaleable condition where possible. Please do not attach labels directly to product packaging. Damage to product/product packaging on change of mind returns may attract a cost or VOID the return.
Please note, all items that are available for return will attract a 15% Return Fee when refunding. All refunds will be done via electronic funds transfer to the details supplied by the purchaser. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds will not be approved for change of mind purchases.
All change of mind return authorisations must be made within 7-days from purchase. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
We do not provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases. At our discretion, we may agree to accept a change of mind return if requested within 7 days of purchase, the product is unused, unopened, uninstalled, in original packaging and in resaleable condition, and reasonable proof of purchase is provided. Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for return freight.
FAULTY, DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR MISDESCRIBED PRODUCTS
If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, misdescribed, unsafe, not fit for purpose or otherwise does not comply with a consumer guarantee, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the issue and reasonable proof of purchase. We may need to inspect the product before confirming the appropriate remedy. If the product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the ACL, we will provide the remedy required by law and reimburse reasonable return costs where required.
CLEARANCE, SPECIAL ORDER AND CUSTOM ITEMS
Clearance, special order, custom and made-to-order items cannot be returned for change of mind unless we agree in writing. This does not affect any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Proof of Purchase
We may ask you to provide reasonable proof of purchase, such as a tax invoice, receipt, order confirmation, card statement, receipt number, warranty card or other evidence showing the goods or services were purchased from us.
Non-Returnable
Any clearance items, or special order items are not eligible for change of mind return unless an agreement is made with us in writing prior to the purchase. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Refused or undeliverable orders that are returned to our warehouse will be treated like a standard return; this means that all shipping costs, including return freight charges and any fees attributed by the shipping company will be deducted from the product refund or charged to the order if the customer elects to re-ship. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancelling Orders
Not all items purchased from us can be returned or cancelled.
Items that are not in stock in the warehouse that need to be ordered from an interstate supplier cannot be cancelled once they are in transit. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Orders for non-stock, special order, custom or made-to-order items may not be able to be cancelled once the item has been ordered, manufactured, customised or shipped. Where cancellation is accepted, we may deduct reasonable costs we have already incurred. This does not affect any right you may have to cancel under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Please also note shipping costs in your original purchase will not be refunded.
Transactional Costs
EFTPOS transaction surcharges cannot be refunded on change of mind returns. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Product Warranty
We are an authorised distributor for all brands and any manufacturer warranty is passed on to the original purchaser of any product. Any manufacturer or voluntary warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a remedy from us as the supplier if goods or services fail to meet a consumer guarantee. Voluntary or manufacturer warranty exclusions do not exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We will also discuss warranty/returns with the supplier making the whole process as smooth and easy as possible.
ACL remedies may not be available where the issue was caused by misuse, abuse, alteration, improper installation, improper maintenance, overloading, or use contrary to instructions or the product’s intended purpose.
We will also not warrant a product of a brand that has not been purchased from us.
We may ask you to provide reasonable proof of purchase, such as a tax invoice, receipt, order confirmation, card statement, receipt number, warranty card or other evidence showing the goods or services were purchased from us.
All product warranty enquiries including pictures, proof of purchase and description of the warranty claim should be made to info@barossaoffroad.com.au.
NB: Customers should check that goods are correct and suitable before installation. We do not accept change of mind returns once goods have been installed or used. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What is not covered by our warranty includes:
- Commercial applications may be excluded from voluntary or manufacturer warranties (This does not exclude any rights or remedies that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law)
- Normal wear and tear
- The finish on some products
- Any consequential or incidental damages, including, but not limited to, commercial loss, loss of time, loss or damage to personal property, lodging, meals or other related travel costs, or any other incidental or consequential damages, arising out the use of the product or the inability to use the product (Voluntary warranties do not cover losses outside the terms of that warranty. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. )
- Service or labour charges in returning the product (this does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law)
- Damage caused by abuse, neglect, misuse or by accident, misapplication, overloading or improper installation or improper maintenance and repair, negligence or Acts of God
- Failure to utilise the product in compliance with its User Manual/s
Alteration or modification of a product may void voluntary warranties and may affect ACL remedies where the alteration caused or contributed to the issue.
Your Obligation
To initiate a Warranty Claim, you are required to:
- Contact us at the earliest sign of defect
- Provide Proof of Purchase as the original consumer purchaser
- Return the product to us for inspection
